ENCORE DESCRIPTION
ISigTech’s ENCORE system is the collection component under ISigTech’s KODIAK Tactical Intelligence Suite. ENCORE is a miniature, programmable multi-channel Software-Defined Radio (SDR) wideband collection system for targeting wireless communications such as GSM, CDMA, Trunked Mobile Radio (TMR) and Push-To-Talk (PTT). For years, customers have not fully benefited from the advancements in technology. As technology continues to progress, collection system architectures tend to become more proprietary leaving customers with no ability to quickly adapt to rapidly changing requirements. This trend has created an excessive cost to value ratio and we simply believe there is a better way to solve SIGINT problems. Therefore, we designed ENCORE to be a robust, cost effective and high performance replacement (or enhancement) to the proprietary, legacy collection systems that have saturated the intelligence market for the past decade.
ENCORE provides multi-band coverage (HF/VHF/UHF) up to 3.0GHz with configurable, instantaneous IF output bandwidth. Wideband and narrowband operations are all implemented in software to provide flexibility and scalability. Wideband recording / playback and visualization are embedded within ENCORE as well as control of the narrowband software DDR channels. Our wideband record / playback capability is scalable and eliminates the need for additional sub-systems while providing the user with the ability to quickly obtain a snapshot of activity and perform post processing. Users are able to choose the bandwith they record - from 250kHz up to 32MHz. Sustained recording (minutes to hours) can be performed as well.
We leveraged our KODIAK application for the command and control interface for ENCORE. Therefore, all of the advantages of KODIAK are also available in ENCORE. Furthermore, if a customer has previously purchased a KODIAK system and decides in the future to purchase an ENCORE system, we can upgrade his existing KODIAK platform to include the ENCORE capability. This upgrade is simply the cost of the ENCORE hardware. By leveraging KODIAK, ENCORE equips customers with the open architecture they deserve. Customers may develop their own signal processing and analysis modules or merge in existing capabilities as they see fit. ENCORE is ideal for wideband survey and sustained collection missions as well as threat warning, situational awareness and target development.
